ON FOOT (from the Railway Station to My Friends)
You know, my lodge is very close to the
main station of Florence which is called "Santa Maria
Novella".

Anyway, you don't need to take a bus or
a taxi from the train station to me.
The train station has two exits: one on your left and one on your right as soon as you go out of the platform.
If you go out of the station through
the exit on your right you will meet some stairs but YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO
THIS WAY.
You have to go LEFT instead and get out
of the station as shown in the map below.
So, let's
start from the beginning:
when you
exit the train, go out of the platform and exit the station on its
side on your left;
cross a
large street through two cross-lights and then go left.
After 20 or
30 metres you will meet a little bus station at the corner of a little
square (named "piazza Adua").
Go round
this corner and straight on till a narrow street in front of you ("via
Cennini").
At the end
of this street, after 30 metres, you will meet my street ("via
Faenza").
Go left and
after 20 metres, on the right side, you will notice a wooden door (open
during the day) at the number 66 (black).
There, ring
at a white button where there's "My Friends room rent" written.
You will
meet me at the same floor where you will be, after opening a black-ironed
greized gate.
You have
arrived at My Friends!!
